Guimaraes (my city) is Portugal
notes:
I usually don`t like postcard-like pictures, but this one looks good.
The Cathedral on the background was ment to be the main one on the North of Portugal, since Guimarгes was to be the religious center of the region, but for political reasons that title was translated to a city on the suburbs.

On the front of the picture is the "Padrгo do Salado",built in 1342 in honor of the battle of Salado, won in 1340.
