Hej Thoenen. Again very good. I like your picts. Very classic and beautifull. I like to work with a more experimental style - to seek the limits. That`s what makes it interesting - to see the different styles of different artists.

Most of your picts have a very warm tone and a kind of glow around the edges of the figure.

I would be happy, if you would tell me about how you make this glow. Also I will tell you about my techniques - look at "Devils Drink", if you are interested.

Regards Mads

hey,

there is no mistery about the technique.
just 2 layers, one crispsharp and one soft (gauss). adjust the contrast, level hue and saturation. that`s all.

KISS keep it simple and stupid.

walo

Hey Walo

Do you mask the upper layer or multiply or what?. With "normal" blending the upper layer would make the underlying layer invisible...

Yes, simple is good...

hi again,

I`m working in the layers-palette. there is a function to blend the layers in different ways and different degrees !

I hope you`ll find it.
