pen in hand will be better
A pen is not a sign of poetry. The face is!
In England we have the saying `born with a silver spoon in your mouth`. It means being very lucky. I love the pensive look in her eyes!
ИМХО, в этой фотографии прямо чувства запечатлены... Понравилось.
Very nice, great work.
Like te overexposed effect on the girl, good light management
the history (= evolution) of poetry tells us that poems can come from anywhere
it could be anything really - dirty water planets in another solar system the mother the lover the last microchip a broken leg a silly look in somebody`s eyes mixed feelings about hot issues of the day leaving one`s country killing doing harm by not interfering hypocritical acquaintances god or bad pictures poverty plutonium rickety laser discs used in a theatrical performance or eating jam with a silver teaspoon
only they should not be ordinary
for if they are so they are not poetry at all
my reading of this picture is that the girl marvels at something taking place either before her very eyes or in her head - as a revelation for example
so she becomes absent-minded
or
she just fools around - tries to see whether the teaspoon can stay stuck to her lower lip when she lets go of it
poetry is ambiguity perhaps more than anything else - and so tend to be other arts too
that leaves room for many an interpretation
if not - it means nothing
the light is nice
and the background has its share when it comes to the impact this picture has on viewers
i am not very sure (only two shots of the subject here are not quite enough for one to form a good idea) but perhaps a different haircut might work better for the little girl
