cats are magnificent creatures

certainly not in the eyes of those who would rather kick them or put them in a bag to be thrown into the river - you name the monstrosity they could be countless oh yes
rather than stoop and pay attention for the briefest of moments or even try to reach for them and experience the singular feel of the warm and soft fur
truly exceptional
if it were only for the eyes and the attitude and the extreme grace and perfect instincts
but the cat in this picture is right - care should have been taken of the lens-cleaner
so that it could have been used (if only a little)
for the picture to be impeccable - the slight lack of sharpness and contrast does not do this subject justice
the cropping could also have been different - not much but still significantly so

ps i am not crazy about cats more than your average human being but i do find them special
i also - to let you know more about me - i also like to think that one day people will stop hurting other creatures - that is stop exploiting them (the way they do it with horses for instance) killing them or destroying their habitat (which is also killing them)
i go for photographs that are spectacular in spectacular ways - it is amazing how many good pictures are taken every minute without them being wonderful and special
my time is spent around my family and friends primarily but i do so much for people that i have absolutely no connection with - other than of course the one deriving from the fact that we belong - they say - to the same species
my pictures might reflect that
but they also show what is it that is magically - for who can say (with all the tremendous research undertaken so far) they know how the mind works - put together in my head
one day if they are uploaded here that will be easily accessible
isn`t that scary
