Sorry, Rene, this time I`ll have to upset you, since it isn`t overrestored and not pseudo either. It`s one of examples of Art Nouveau or Jugend style in architecture, built around 1902-1912 and original as it is. Riga is a city of Jugend. There are many examples of this creative style, and as to me I`m very fond of it. So you`ll have to see more of it from me By the way, do you like architecture by A.Gaudi, one of Nouveau masters? But... I understand quite well what you meant

OK. I checked out. This particular building was built in 1906 as a residence of incurance company "Rossia", architect N.Proskurnin.
