the more i look at "Us and Our Shadows"...at dusk the fonder i am of these creatures
i have always liked them anyway
only here in this picture they are so much alive - as if reality were inferior to art
i have been silent towards you for a long time (something like a week now?) for good reasons (not that i should try to justify myself or anything) i could not sit down at my computer and do the usual work
but now i am back
the elegy is indeed long (i had to include it in three – if we count the epilogue too – `comments` messages for they kept telling me sorry but my commentary was too long) but as brilliant as they come

for the first time, that is, the vegetal not the animal
although if i look at it again the picture shows me two birds in full flight one of them with this huge extraordinary violet plumage it should be the male the male is usually more beautiful in the animal world so as to manage to get the female`s attention when the time is ripe
