This is a wonderfully stirring shot. I have a suggestion as I usually do. I presume you use Photoshop. Do you have the "CS" version? IF not, get it. It has a very useful tool called"Shadow/Highlight...". It really opens up the shadows and reveals an image not previously viewed. Check it out. That is not to say that this image needs that or anything else. It is wonderfully strong and simple.
