The city of Veurne in the West Vlaanderen. Every year on last Sunday July, since 1644, on streets of city this procession moves. In the beginning it there are groups of amateur actors which play the stages, illustrating the chapter from the Bible. Representatives of Catholic clergy close a procession. And here between actors and confessors the greater column of those who considers necessary to ask expiation before the God for sins terrestrial moves. Their persons are hidden from people by whom they bear the cross...
And two world wars, the past on this ground, have not broken this tradition...

Грешники ряженые и совсем не мрачные. А товарищ в авангарде шествия так и вовсе счастливо женат - и колечко на нем есть: ) Очень колоритная, красивая работа, но, кажется, при кадрировании стоило убрать публику справа.
