I don't know how you did it, but it looks like u cut out the flower in photoshop and pasted it on a black background.
The problem with thos cuts is the hard edges you get, which can be seen in this picture. If you go to "selection" and adjust "smooth" and "feather" after you contracted the selection a bit, u will get a smoother edge
