I was about to describe and add notes on the measure and other technical details of these waterfalls, but i prefer to write about the legends of them..
A beautiful young woman fall in love with a guy of another village of guaranies, aborigines from this region...she was Pora-sí.. he was Iguá... as their parents opposed to their relation, they ran away.. but they were soon reached.. and surrounded... he feared she might be hurt by arrows so, he decided to threw himself from a big hill to the river, dying...
it is said Pora-si cried a lot.. and her tears finally formed the waterfalls...
Another legend says that a god pretended to marry a beautiful aborigine named Naipú, who fled with her mortal lover in a canoe. In rage, the god sliced the river creating the waterfalls, condemning the lovers to an eternal fall

So, as you see.. no happy end for legends of this place, but at least they are related to love...
and this is the true feeling when you are there.. love to nature.. love to be alive..

thank you for commenting C King.. i had tried sharper, but i wasnt satisfied.. maybe coz quality wasnt good.. dont know.. see in variant мой вариант фото

I see what you mean. But for me the sharpening is not that objectionable. My first comment was about focus in the camera. Regards, Chet
