Original structure of a body, with a huge beak and a long tail, the large size and a combination of bright colors - red, green, dark blue - do(make) parrots of sort Macaw by one of the most attractive, beautiful and appreciable parrots.
Live red-and-green macaw in the majority of districts of the north of South America, from Panama up to Northern Argentina. Occupy rich tall-trunked tropical woods, both flat, and mountain. Length of this parrot of 78-90 sm, from them 31 - 47 sm fall to a tail.
Keep usually in pairs or small family groups. Pairs at macaw are formed for a long time, frequently to death of one of partners.
They eat vegetative food, basically nuts of palm trees. As important addition to this diet fruits of trees and bushes, young runaways and inflorescences of some plants serve.

Просто, мы жили в тропиках... там с волнистыми напряжёнка... laugh
А родители бы - ни за что! Мне их знакомый на день рождения подарил - ловил за хвост, поэтому хвост был обломан... sad smile
