Look like this picture was cropped into the background. The left side of head has a white edge outlined and her arm has black edge. Top portion of head around her hair has the blurr noise when crop to background.

Looks can be decieving. The lighting for this is coming in 1 direction about 45 degree from horizon. Her left hand is facing a shadow area that roughly 20 to 30 feet deep so there is definitely going to be a dark shadow outline. The hair noise could be from the USM applied to sharpen up after the was scanned and from the compression of downsizing from 2400 dpi to 85.

It is not a edge out and paste over.
