Whether it be NY...or a dwelling that could be situated anywhere in an urban setting...the age of this structure (the beautiful curve and workmanship of the fireplace)and your acute eye meld together feelings of nostalgia...of recognition. Perhaps recognition for new eyes craving to feel the past, or a gentle mirror for those eyes seeking solace in reflections in time that has passed.
The highlighting of the windows, (each of which seem capable to relate an individual tale of eyes that have peered out) perched higher than the older wooden structure...
Ok, I could go on and on...Suffice to say this is laden with nostalgia...but also a documention of history which is left to the viewers imagination...to `live` a moment in the past.
