Dedicated to Brites and his series. Thought that I could not pass up this shot. The start , one guy stands behind holding him from going forward. When the timer goes off and he lets him go forward. The race goes 3.8 miles uphill. The best qualified times are in a race this Sunday. I will try to get more photos.

The Race Across America is one of the best events on our earth. I love our Tour de France but compared to the distances in America it is like a race for beginners (strong ones of coarse).
