for the clouds to clear around Mt. Assiniboine. However, after about an hour wait in 35 degree weather with the wind blowing, it's time to start heading back so I can catch the bus back down to the parking lot. This day was not nearly as nice as the day before at Lake O'hara, but still the scenery is amazing in the Canadian Rockies. I love hiking in this area and at this point on the trail, there is no one else around me. It's hard to get a feel for just how large the mountains and scenics are in these pictures. Is that snow I feel?...scanned negative.

The day might not have been as nice but the photos are ! Very beautiful scenery ! You can feel the sense of empowerment of being there through the photos ! I'd be just like Leonardo Decaprio "I'm on top of the world ! " smile

Enjoyable black and white shot, and makes me wish I had of taken a camera with B&W film as it's a nice alternative shot. I always debate on how much color to add to a shot. The one thing I try to avoid, and others on this site may disagree, is overadding elements in photoshop.(contrast, color, sharpness, etc) to make a shot unnatural.(Your B&W looks fine though Ricardo). This unfortunately was one of those lackluster shooting days with the sun being so covered.
