Forsythia " Beatrix " among the earliest shrubs to flower.Unlike other shrubs the flowers appear first and after they fade the leaves then appear.A very difficult flower to photograph as the star like flowers are formed in threes around the stem.Beatrix is a lovely shade of canary yellow.Enjoy my friends.
