Guys, this is my first HDR experiment, and I must admit it’s been really exciting! The twilight this Sunday was quite special, so I thought of trying to capture some beautiful colors in the sky. I didn’t think it was going to be possible to get this result using my tiny 2mp Nikon Coolpix, but as it has a (rather awkward) EV compensation option, I shot this same scene with 5 different exposure values and merged them using Photomatix. I don’t like “cartoonish” HDR pictures, so in this shot I tried to get the closest possible to the real tonal range I was seeing at the moment I took the pictures. It looks pretty much like reality, so I guess I was successful! : )
