"Well-earned" view of the tree and generations, taken seats in its shades, were the sources this photo`s name. There were else assotiations with "Anrew Bolkonsky`s oak"... It`s sad that the photo is too small, but the restrictions of this sight do not allow the larger one...

I love tree shots, and this is great! The people on the left help in giving perspective to the size of this venerable tree.
I`m not sure about the shadowy figures at the right. They are rather distracting and draw my attention from the tree which is your subject. I understand from your description that it should be included...just my thoughts... smile )

I`ve tried to decide for a long time which composition I do prefer -
the venerability of tree or the scale of generations close-up.
And... then I`ve leave all things "as is". Only a bit of sun rays are
added in Photoshop.
So, OK, it`s not a masterpiece, but it wouldn`t pretend smile ))

Очень красивый и мощный дуб... только вот какие-то лучи отвлекают... как будто отражения на лобовом стекле, когда снимаешь из машины...
