Ответ не очень понял. Кто конкретно вас съест за картинку о Хеллоуине? Люди какой "другой" религии" И кто хочесть наехать на ваше праволавие. которое вы собираетесь защищать? Пожалуйста, фамилии, явки, адреса...

себя не собираюсь защищать,да и не религиозный
я человек.Я имел в виду не конкретный праздник,а
вообще религиозную тему,наверное,меня не туда
занесло:)

Конечно ! Все так же - тыквы,шествия с фонариками, костюмы, маски. По моему и в России это потихоньку входит в моду. А ты давно в Штатах ? Я 5 лет, как уехал из России, т. к. я этнический немец.

we dont have Halloween here, even the Media is "bombing" us each day more, moving specially kids and schools to begin with it...
we have plenty of characters of our own mythology, of that syncretic mix of aborigines' believing and catholicism , imposed here at those times.But for sure our young don't know them...
i always have a creepy feeling about what i see at movies or TV abut that day (in fact i don't watch them a lot)..
your image is so colourful, but still has, for me, that feeling.

The media is bombing it here too -- as a celebration of the dark latent forces of human nature. But the well-wishing conservative establishment now cannot repress what many centuries of civilization failed to do -- people like to walk on the wild side and at at least once a year to celebrate human nature's darkness. The subconscious speaks up - and people dress as ghouls, ghosts, skeletons, etc. It's like a counter-culture against the serene, "disinfected" picture of reality.

My picture, however, tries to celebrate a different type of Halloween, a good-nature carnival of the Fall that children and scarecrows equally enjoy.

when i mean bombing i said they try to introduce something that isn't at our culture...
in that sense wish we could also celebrate that opened day....i wish we could be able to walk at our own wild side.. have our own darkness symbols festivity ... human being is everywhere same, but each place has a distinctive "covering paint" that should be taken off with the "nail" of each idiosyncrasy.. in fact, at carnivals at north here specially at north, there are devils and all those mythical characters i told you, expressing that wild side.. at main cities, carnival is just an old remembering..

your nature carnival..yes, about colours and faces, but.. mmhhh.. i still feel bit shiver
