As the character looks wise senior,
(and very trendy while he is "studing" some
women's magazine and smoking 
)
so does the building behind him –both weathered.
I like this very symbolic and colourfull photo of many contrasts.
Worn out–new fashioned, red–green, open–closed,
wisdom–stupidy, citylife like–fruit tree and so on.....
In fact, I think the contrasts are the things that make
this photo so interesting. This is also one of those few
photos which could be titled for many various porposes.
