This shot is the 2nd one in this portfolio of my girlfriend. I think I have to correct myself. I wrote it was a B&W portfolio and in a way it is, but I use the new film Kodak T400CN which is processed as a color film which gives it a sepia tone and natural if it was processed as a B&W it would be left without the sepia tone. So in other words I never gave those shots any color changes at all only little but contrast at last. The light is a little flat but maybe people here can help me out. I used a shutter speed of 1/125 sec. and later somebody told me the ideal shutter speed was 1/60 sec. otherwise the light gets flat, is that right or not? Everybody with studio experience I would be very happy to hear their opinion on that.

I like very much this caught moment you`ve got. But I think, that a bit to much light on her face- cheek, forehead and nose, no?

I think it is a great portrait. I don`t think a little flatness has anything to do with the shutter speed. I was assuming that the studio strobes fire at about 1/250; we know there is nothing wrong with the studio strobes.
I also think that color processing of N400CN is way too expensive. However, the result is great.
