Ага!!!
Я первый поставил +++!

Правда потом показалось, что мирная птичка вклеена, но было поздно.

Может это хроматические абберации по контуру?

The original photo had a dark cobalt sky that might be caused by photographer error while playing with a new travel and street photography camera. I didn't like the effect (it might be one of the Canon Picture Styles playing havoc with the settings). I changed it to a B & W after trying to lower the saturation and tone in PS.

Excuse me, but was that pegeon taken from other picture? There is very strange line around it and it puzzled me

And, of course, I set the camera to JPEG only. Now it is set to RAW & JPEG. Here's another photo from that sequence. Same settings. NO deep cobalt color. Oh, well. Still tweeking the camera settings. мой вариант фото

The last photo is much more interesting! And you know photo tweaking may take all our lives улыбаюсь

Yes, Alexey, it might. But, as I noted, the last photo was delivered out of the camera as a JPEG with the same settings as the cobalt blue photo. That's the mystery. The infamous Canon blue devil at work? There were four or five JPEGs from that series with the same dark cobalt blue sky. In any event, thanks for having a good eye. Now I need to shake the bugs out of this camera BEFORE the wife takes it on a vacation to Hawaii. Can you imagine the blue ocean photos she will return with? And thanks for following all of this with your attention.

But Shanhon, as I saw you are experienced photographer. Why do you have any doubts about your camera? The mathematics of any camera can not be compared with special PC or MAC software. I do not trust to my nikon d90 to makes a decision about colors in my shoots. I use only RAW format and aprocess them on PC. I think if you make the same decision, your oucean photos will be great. I hope it will help to you a bit of.

Thanks for the tips, Alexey. I do trust MY camera; just don't trust the wife's NEW camera until I get the settings correct for her. Then it will be up to her to make any further changes.
