The dog walking across the frame is the point of interest..... Image is a bit bulging ..
What we call barrel distortion ... Needs correction IMHO..

I agree the dog is the first that take viewers eyes. However, the path can stand on its own without the dog. The viewer would start with bright spot at the path exit and then to the amazing entrance.The photo would be perceived differently, like the old time with a present touch.
