notes:
I fell in love with photography after getting a Polaroid camera for Christmas when I was twelve. In those days (over 25 years ago) I used to take photos of my Star Wars spaceship models. Since then I have gone through a number of 35mm cameras and thousands of bad photographs. I share my passion for photography with my best friend and wonderful wife Melanie, who I met in 1991.
In the mid nineties, we both took a City & Guilds in photography at Thomas Danby College in Leeds. After working as a computer games designer for many years, I gave it all up last year to become a fulltime freelance photographer. I specialise in people photography but don’t think there is a subject I haven’t shot. Every time I pick up my camera I learn something new and I have never lost any of my early enthusiasm.
