Sorry, but this picture does not show advantages of large format. In fact, it`s pretty flat and blurry. Small SLR with cheap telephoto lens and polarizer will produce the same result...
Dear friend
If you look at this image carefully you will noticed that 1, the dept of field (which you will never achieve this kind, (if you have ever tried large format) in usual SLR with cheap lenses) is just in the middle of picture, 2, changing perspective has given a feeling of miniature (maket) despite all the objects are real,
3, it wasn’t Polarize filter, I have used red filter on B&W film
I know that today you are able to do the things like what I have done on film digitally in Photoshop, but I have got this photo 1995 and I hadn’t this opportunity.
I do recommend you try some large format shooting to find out benefits of this kind of shooting

:) actually I was not sure whether it is not a miniature, ) well done, but seriously - the DOF could be put the way, that the bacground stays sharp, it could work even better, then. And the former side of the main object (ODAL) is not sharp yet, which has to be seen as a sharpening fault.
Dear Josef,
at the begining i did as you say put the DOF which included the whol BG but at the same time i did lose the lego effect, ODAL is sharp on the Negativ but maybe the resulution or as you say sharpening for this resolution is not enough. thanks for your comment
best regards
