In my city, it snows maybe once or twice a year and usually melts in a few hours, but in the mountains and up north there is always quite a bit of snow.

I took this shot yesterday at an elevation of 1800 meters. We hiked for 5 about hours there in the snow!

Yes, maybe minus 5 degrees C. or so. I was dressed quite warm and was actually getting hot climbing the mountain. Did get rather cold sitting on the windy summit having lunch though.
