" What beauties does Lisboa first unfold!...
Shining far, celestial seems to be."
( Lord Biron wrote )
As I did not want to use any artifitial light, I choosed a very high ISO number, in orderto give this ptotograph the appropriate mood and atmosphere that could depict this ancient quarter of Lisboa, ( BAIRRO ALTO ) where the poets, composers, song-writers, singers...everybody goes to listen this ageless Portuguese song " FADO ".
If you are travelling to Portugal, this is " a muust " in Lisboa.

Hi John
How are you?
As I already said, this visual grain or digital noise, was my option, using high Iso number and exposure controls I tried to emphazise the age of these structures and inhance the sense of antiquity and lonliness, because I have this special romantic relationship with this ancient quarter!!! Considering that photography is, probably, as subjective as individual taste, the photograph tells a story but it seems that I am the only one able to see it!!!
Kind regards
