Beautiful composition... the hot lighting on the rear leaf is a major distraction. Shielding that leaf a bit from the light source may have produced a softer light.

I think that leaf kind of distracts the flower which should be the strong point of the photography.

Nice macro with strong and appealing color-contrasts, Rainer! Cropping however could be more tight , especially on the upper
part. Sharpness and also lighting on the flower could be improved as well.. The foreground
of the flower is diving too much into black as, I agree with Melanie, the the reflections on the leaf to
the right is too strong, yet important for the contrast. Try to cover the lamp by some white
transparent material ( even paper can be enough) to soften these reflections.

Well, Melanie and Rene have said it all. Really wish the right part of the photo wasn`t there...:) But the centerpiece and the beautiful greenery on the left look irresistible.

Great composition with contrast-full colors. I agree with Melanie: the hot lighting on the rear leaf is a major distraction. But excellent work anyway!
