This is the Wild Horses Monument on the side of I-90 as you come up out of Vantage, WA. This is about 17 miles west of George, WA. Down below is a huge and beautiful Columbia River. At this time of year, this river is full of returning Salmon (Losos in Europe). As you can see it is a desert all around but if you only drive 60 miles west, the rain and the Rain Forest will surround you.
