notes:
The corner of Taj-Mahal, legendary mausoleum in Agra, India, built by King Shahjahan to his beloved queen Mumtaj.

The huge structure is buitl entirely of White Marble with beuatiful caliigraphical inscriptions from Holy Koran (as mandated by the laws of Islam)

Please forgive me for replacing the original sky with a rendered sky, as Indian skyscape is never attractive. Suggestions to improve are greatly appreciated.

you can wait for the end of the day for this shot and use your tripod.
it would give a nice sky, you are lucky to be close to such a landmark, show us some more please. Also if you look closely you can see white between the sky and the building

Thanks for your comments, there are couple of things about India, most of the national monuments, dont allow tripods to be used, or if they allow, they charge huge fee. Probably, they are faraid that, a better picture taken like that can be commercially exploited. I thought of monopod. But I am not sure if that is allowed either.

Yes, I am fortunate to be in the vicinity of such monuments, in due course, I will post all the photographs.

thanks again,
Rajeev

Patches of blue in the sky reveals cloning. You chose a good subject and the shot may have been better with the original sky.
Spectacular snapshot of Taj Mahal. Perhaps one day I shall go to India to see Taj Mahal.

I realised as much, probably, I have to hon my PS skills more sharp. Thanks for pointing it out. I will try to correct it and post again. The original sky, believe me is really un-attractive.

thanks,
Rajeev
