In Indian mythology as in many other, Good prevails over in the form of God`s victory over Demons. This is the statue of Mahi-sha-sur the one of the many Demons of Indian Mythology slayed by Godess Kali. The statue is at Mysore, in South India.

Thanks for the comment. I believe, the notes accompanying every photograph, especially journalistic photos, or when you are expecting viewers from other cultures (as in this case) or travel photos, will shed extra light on the pictures. They provide the right context for the photographs.
