there is such a huge contrast between your presentation photograph and the ones posted for comments and rating
i really think you should go for more
first impression is so important for many – whether they want to admit it or not
the editing on this one (if my screen does not lie to me) makes it look like a painting which adds something to it
not that only pictures that try to look like paintings are good no not at all
but still
and i like the lack of sharpness here
so many photographers look for sharpness only
and then the desolation

the cries of the people i imagine killed by who knows what brutes

we`re dealing with it so much as photographers
or artists generally
i feel good contemplating art but other stuff as well art is everywhere almost if you know how to look around but of course it does not come in huge bits
i do take pictures myself although one can doubt that since i have been – actively – on this site for more than a week now (but not for the last days or so) but failed to post a single picture (except for the one in my presentation folio) so far
but i might do it in the future
