So, the first stop on a route – the ancient city of Uglich.
The small silent ancient Russian city of Uglich is in the Yaroslavl area. It is located on coast of the river of Volga, just in that place where it does an abrupt bend.
For the first time the city under a name Uglich is mentioned in annals of 1148.
And welcomes visitors from steam-ships such beauty, in Russian – bread with salt.
