Yes This is for real. I was trying to take some photos of pelicans when this and another bird became very upset and kept flying straight at me. They would swoop sideward just before hitting me. I caught this just as it was turning. I was amazed to see the head horizontal and the wings vertical when I downed loaded the shot to the computer. Im wondering if this is normal for behavior?
