I would have cut about 15% of the top of the photo of. Is it mad from to pictures?
I very much like the moods that you capture Greg, this is spledid
"on A Dark And Stormy Night" by Greg Summers is outstasnding in every way. As much as I like Greg and he is our #1 rated photographer, I decided to see if I could kind fault , even a minor nit picck, in any way. No. The clarity of the moon is presiosn itself. Within th sky the subltle asreas of darker than klighter blue critical to the feel of motion of the weather also is beyond reproach. The trees in the foreground, under the moon . yet a counter-measure locatred on the golden thirds lines provides the left side of the composition with eye moving interest from the moon itself.
For you who too often make images less than perfect, please do not despair sooner or later Greg is likely to have something worth a lose of a percentage point or two.
This is also very nice, with a quite a different mood. Doesn`t have as much punch and wow-value, but still an achievement under such difficult conditions. I, for one, wouldn`t have the slightest clue of how to tackle them.
Wonderful mood in this image - Great shot again, Greg! Also great new Rating system! )
I like big moon and great colors!
Thanks Peter W. and all who commented - I just liked the mood of it all - I love shooting the moon and finding different ways to see it.
