Hi: i really believe your scanner is destroying your work, nevertheless, in this case you have no good composition at all, IMHO. The house should be entirely into the frame. Then you should clone out some distracting elements here, such as the post at the right side. Still the problems would remain cause the light is too harsh and burnt your picture. By saying this maybe you could improve this by reducing the brightness and increasing the contrast. This is the least i could told you. Best regards and good shots.
