A Great Lady`s Portrait

примечания:
I refer to this exposure as "A GREAT LADY`S PORTRAIT",. No, she is not a politician, a trend setter, or retired diplomat. She is my 86 year old Mom. who has alawys been my number one supporter and fan of my photography work. Not only that, she has been an "encourager of countless" people in their life struggles and challenges. My MOM is also a grandmother to seven and a great Grandmother to Five.
She was photographed through mesh wire for effect on Fujiccolor 100 with Minolta Camera and 105mm Lens. A type C , color, print.

Очень красиво!
Напоминает голландцев по цвету и свету.
Beautifull.
As holland painters (color and light).
Thanks.

A Most Important Portrait.

i could tell you - now in my second comment - who i am but is that important to you
my page on this site already provides some information
should you be interested -
i could also add that i am amazed at the number of pictures people take
`everything counts in large amounts` the song says
that is the reason why i take much fewer pictures myself
but i go for contemplating others - i analyse them (sometimes only very briefly - many are not complex enough though they can be good from a technical point of view) and then have my own version of them which could be at times very close to the starting point and at other times totally different
i guess that much would suffice to round off what is connected to me

i find this portrait interesting for two reasons
on the one hand it portrays someone that resembles somebody i seem to know - but i do not manage to remember the person
on the other hand the colours and the texture
the first are soft and related or contrasting mildly with one another
the second brings about a certain sense of depth

the look in the eyes of the woman is very ambiguous too
it could be the look of a friendly understanding person or one of somebody who does not have the energy to do anything wrong any more and therefore just looks at us secretly munching on disdain
