I am a lucky guy: I played a chamber orchestra " Russian Camerata". That was the difficult and fine period in my life, filled daily lasting many hours rehearsals when fingers already refused to obey, and Trushin, our conductor, demanded and demanded, achieving from each musician of perfection and faultlessness. How we played! How much fine music was poured out from under our bowes! How many pleasure there was both who was in a hall, and those who was on a stage! Now "Camerata" doesn`t exist anymore. Today I have called my friend, "Camerata" inspector, and he told me that the last sponsor, Tver Filarmony, had no money to support this unique collective.
10 years ago we drove Spain from North to South, playing concerts, gathered huge audiences. So I picked some photos from my archieve to show you, my friends, for remembranse of my orchestra. Isn`t it sad?

А кто?! Как искусство нужно государству - мы постоянно убеждаемся, и на примере "Камераты" еще раз убедились. Во всем мире академические оркестры, театры - на гос. обеспечении, поскольку рентабельным элитарное искусство не бывает никогда. Оно является неким эталоном и верхней планкой уровня культуры общества и его духовных потребностей. Вот если бы "Камерата" была футбольным клубом "Челси"...
