This week the European Community started a large campaign to avoid a half million deaths by year in consequence of smoking.
It’s a huge problem in health care and quality of life but it isn’t easy for smoking people to stop. And some of them want to keep smoking and they might to have this right since they don’t offence the other people.
The authorities have a double face in this question because they earn large figures in tax over the sells and in other hand spend much money in public health.
My point is:
1- Advise the danger to start smoking nowadays it’s known that some genetic condition drive directly to lung cancer;
2- Where doesn’t exist appeal for free support programs in public health area to help people who want to stop smoking;
3- Not forbidden in an indiscriminate way the smoker people but reserve zones where they don’t feel like the new leprosies in services of common utilization.

Common sense is needed to face this contradictory question like everything else in life.

Difficult question, but the exposition must be to sensitize of the damage that carries to smoke and to provide the average ones to leave it to that it wishes it. Making in any case a stubborn defense of the nonsmokers so that they do not become passive smokers.

impressive and expressive portrait, vitor... it is not easy to solve.. i am against any type of discrimination, but i am, as well, against the idea to get sick coz of being a passive smoker... i think you are very right with the idea of advising in a strong, convincent way, about the risks to smoke... at least more convincent than simply write "it produces cancer" at cigarettes boxes or advertisings... maybe in the eyes of that man, there is an answer...
