This flower was sort of standing alone among all the other plants, and I thought it deserved having its picture taken.

I believe your right Brian. A lot of people think its a rose, but its not. I took this at the Botanical Gardens In Birmingham,AL., and the roses are not in bloom. Thank you so much for your criticism. I hope to see some new photos soon. Take it easy. Michael
