Sunsets are perhaps the most popular and ageless photo subject and sometimes can be truly compelling images, especially when the photographer adds an elemen that gives context and interest to it, such as, like in your case, a simple foreground element wich helps to reveal your location and helps to evoke a special mood!
I agree with Yves, for romance you just have to add a hand-holding couple...the light is beautiful.
