This transporter bridge, built at beginning of 20th century, took people and carts from one bank to the other… those who know, are very proud to have an “Eiffel’s “ at La Boca. But fate and facts made that some of the immigrants, that had arrived to stay, and argentines , were obliged to emigrate, due to crisis… maybe those who never came back, kept their souls still flying at this place, and one of those who did, wrote verses like the following.. Title of the tango: Volver… (return)

I imagine the flickering
of the lights that in the distance
will be marking my return.
They're the same that lit,
with their pale reflections,
deep hours of pain
And even though I didn't want to come back,
you always return to your first love

What a coincidence having a sight of your bridge
picture at the time of my Salmon Lunch! Thinking
of Salmom who always return to their place of birth.
Very interesting bridge and the bird really adds to the
quality of the picture.
