Hi Brian very simple set up
3 x 2 hardboard painted with blackboard matt paint and set up with leading edge set slightly obliquely to the ambient window light so as you get a fall off along the board and no light is reflected from the trailing edge as you are virtually looking into a void beyond the subject.
