That's a wonderful wildlife photo, one can look straight into the eye of the bird. Couldn't one cut off the unsharp part of a roof at the left bottom...
My congratulation!

Virgil Virgil #3 Sat 20 Aug 2005 22:17

Hi Bernd, thanks for the comment - problem is that itґs to close to the claws so i was afraid that i kill the picture cutting the roof away.

Cheers
Virgil

very wll done. I like the way the bird's face is tack sharp while there#s a lot of motion blur on the wings.
The only problem is the lack of detail in the dark areas, but I guess fill flash was not an potion here?

Virgil Virgil #15 Sun 4 Sep 2005 17:41

Hi Laurenz,

*lol* - fill-flash - i was so overly satisfied by the presentation and that i managed to get a series of more then 100 shots well that i didnґt even thought about it. So it was more user-error smile

And even though youґre right - you and others enjoyed the shot (which was what i wanted to achieve) and so i think this little deficit is negligible.

Cheers
Virgil

This has great detail and fluid movement at the same time. Excellent capture.
