About 60 km on a southeast from Prague there is a city of Kutna Mountain. The history of this city is indissolubly connected with extraction of silver ore. In the early Middle Ages local mines of steel one of the largest sources of silver in the medieval Europe. Already in the end of XIII century the Mountain Kutna gave about one third of European extraction of silver. Hardly later here have started to mint the Prague pennies which concerned to the strongest European currencies. Owing to the riches the Mountain Kutna became the second on extractions of silver.
