Castle Franzensburg (at Schloss Laxenburg) looks like other castles which can be found all over Austria. The only difference: it has never seen a real knight! Why? Cos it was build in the second half of the 19. Century by emperor Kaiser Franz II. for educational purpose like a museum and itґs run as intended up to the present day. It holds one of the biggest collection of middle-age relicts like tools, weapons, furniture and so on. - enjoy!

Great view and an excellent composition.
There are lot'as of "artificial" medieval castles around europe...
My photo of an irish castle shows a castle, build as a villa for a rich Guiness owner, built at the end of 19th century...
