“Eye of the Earth” – so I called the Morning Glory Pool - one of the most spectacular pools in the Yellowstone national park.

It used to be deep blue with a yellow fringe. However, due to pollution of the pool in the first half of the previous century, the color changed to greenish and the yellow fringes moved more to the centre of the pool.
It’s a hot spring, so some vapor noticeable.

Yellowstone NP, Wyoming.
Canon 10D with Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L, ISO 400, F/5.6, 1/125s, tripod.
