I am fond of abstracts too and this one is quite impressive. At first I was trying to decide if the frame, with the line around the picture, was a good or a bad idea. The reason why the frame, as it is, makes the picture more pleasant results, in my opinion, from the fact that it provides the only 90 degree angles. All the angles in the picture itself are "irregular" and thats what makes it so original.
