I am un unconditional admirer of the B&W works of “ Keiichi Tahara “, a Japanese photographer from Kioto that lived in Paris for sometime and is known as “Sculptor of images”.
His work is characterized by massive shapes emerging from impenetrably black shadows covering large areas of picture space, striking gray tones stippled with a strong graininess, truly stark pictures that almost always convey an atmosphere of desolation…I’m just trying to learn more about him!

For me the BW tones are very good and the general mood evoqued really intense and deep.
Altaugh insipired to Tahara, I find some parts a little too dark, but it's strictly a personal taste smile
