Very interesting choice of lens - I would guess that you have used the wider range (24 - 30mm?) but it really gives the composition greater impact. The contrast between the curvaturte of the body and the austere surroundings is also a deft touch as is the way the fall of light on the body is reinvented on the background pillar. Well done!
